Independent Haier fridge & AC repair

Power is reaching the fridge, so the fault is usually the thermostat, compressor relay or, in frost-free models, the defrost system. We test each part before replacing anything.

Usually a blocked defrost drain at the back of the fridge section. We clear it and check that the door gasket seals properly.

Dirty filters and coils reduce cooling most in peak summer. A jet-pump service often restores cooling; if not, we check for a gas leak.

Change the remote batteries first. If the indoor unit still doesn't respond, the receiver sensor or display PCB may be faulty.

Rattling usually comes from a loose panel or fan blade. A humming outdoor unit that won't start often means a failed capacitor.

The drain pipe is usually blocked or the indoor unit isn't level. A jet-pump service clears the drain tray and pipe.
